Pantry Makeover

Several months ago I came across these beauties and thought to myself I can do that too.  For years I have been wanting canisters, but didn't want to take up all my counter space because I don't have much space, really!  This was the perfect solution so I ordered my own canister vinyl's and the rest is history.  I was on a mission and as you can see in my BEFORE picture I needed some serious help.

My inspiration, from the canister labels to the entire makeover was purely because of this beautiful pantry makeover.  Enjoy!

A picture says a million words, doesn't it???

Here's my BEFORE, enough said, right?  Stuff just accumulated and I never knew how much I had or what I had, it was out of control.
FYI, you might be wondering why all my pots and pans are in the pantry... because I don't have enough cabinets in my kitchen.  My pantry works over time, let me tell ya!  I don't think the doors ever get closed either.

Instead of painting the entire pantry I decided to get creative and use scrapbook paper.  I measured, cut, and lined the walls in between the three shelves of the pantry.  Also, the tape is used was double sided and it worked perfectly.  It is holding up well, I haven't had to fix anything.  I left the top and bottom wall space alone so I could paint it.  It would have been a huge challenge to line those areas with scrapbook paper.  No thanks.

I used 12x12 scrapbook paper and bought about 27 pieces to cover
the pantry.  I even had enough to do the corners, it's bare in the picture above.

My helper for the day, Layla the cat.  Who me?

AFTER: De-cluttered, organized, and one happy lady!  Feels so good!!
Sorry about the glare, the natural light comes in all day long...tough to get pics

The canisters can be found at Walmart and Target.  They range in price from $4.97 and up.  I just love how they turned out and my hubby is quite the vinyl man now. Thanks babe!

I found these spice racks for about $4.00 each at good-ole Walmart, but they worked great for my canned goods. This is the best idea yet.  I know exactly what I have now and don't have 10 4 cans of green beans or peas.  Not kidding

These wire baskets are from Target.  They were about $8.99 each, a little more than I wanted to spend, but they worked well for my space.  I made the chalkboard name tags myself and attached them to the baskets, it was easy peasy.

I hope you are inspired, have a blessed week!
